MrBeast has become a shark.

The YouTuber, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is joining the cast of the ABC reality show Shark tankHe will be a guest star in Season 18, which will begin in the fall.

Donaldson will be a shark alongside Beast Industries CEO Jeffrey Housenbold, joining an all-star cast of guest sharks for the new season. Other guests include actress and writer Mindy Kaling, former NFL star JJ Watt, CEO Diaries Podcast host Stephen Bartlett, and Sarah and Erin Foster, co-founders of Favorite Daughter and the inspiration for the series Nobody wants this.

The guest sharks will join the show’s permanent roster of sharks, which includes Barbara Corcoran; Lori Greiner; Robert Herjavec; Daymond John; Daniel Lubetzky; Kevin O’Leary; Kendra Scott; And Rashawn Williams.

Shark tank It has become one of the most enduring reality shows on broadcast television, and the most successful business show of all time. The show sees entrepreneurs and investors pitch sharks to invest in their products or businesses, often leading to real deals, such as the Ring camera, which was eventually sold to Amazon for $1 billion.

The series has always relied on the Sharks to help tell the story, and former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is perhaps the most famous of them all (at least until O’Leary’s starring role in Marty Supreme). Cuban left the show last year saying Hollywood Reporter “I just want to spend a few summers with my teenage sons before they go off on their own… It has nothing to do with the show. I love it. I love being in it. I love what [it] Represents and motivates entrepreneurs around the world.

The new crop of guest stars is even more fascinating than past seasons, with content creators and podcasters more present than actual business executives. ABC is probably betting on it as is dancing with the stars, Leaning on the creators could create a lot of buzz for a show that debuted in 2009.
