Mohit Suri recently celebrated the 13th anniversary of his 2013 blockbuster film ‘Aashiqui 2’, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. Not only was the film a huge hit at the box office, it also catapulted both actors to massive fame, while its songs remained timeless, continuing to dominate playlists even years later.

On Sunday (April 26), Mohit took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of ‘Aashiqui 2’ with a heartfelt note, “Celebrating 13 years of Aashiqui 2, some films are not just made…they make you…every moment on the set…every silence, every tear, every musical note…felt like something lived, not just created. Years have passed…but the echoes have not passed.”

The director also mentioned that the list of people he wants to thank is endless, far more than he can name, but each one of them lives on throughout the film.
He shared that he feels extremely grateful for the love the film has received and how it still resonates with audiences even now. “Some love stories never end. They keep playing…repeatedly, somewhere in the heart,” Mohit wrote.
