MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly considering visiting the UK ahead of the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. Ahead of their planned trip to the UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been vacationing in Europe with their family this summer.

With a vacation dedicated to family time, the couple takes time to relax with their children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the California-based couple, have packed their bags for a private vacation in mainland Europe, according to Hello! However, the move sparked speculation ahead of their expected visit to the UK. According to the latest BBC report, the royal couple are now reconsidering after the police request was rejected.

Prince Harry was due to attend with his wife and children for the first time in four years in early July. His team had requested special police protection for all family members, but the request was rejected, arguing that no taxpayer-funded security would be provided. This decision represents a difficult time for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and requires them to reconsider plans, as the security rejection comes approximately a week before the family visit.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry agree to reside

Before the official security rejection, the team of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed that the couple had agreed to reside at the royal residence as guests of King Charles III. However, Buckingham Palace officials stated that they had not received any confirmation of acceptance. The couple were also expected to use private accommodation in the UK. Moreover, royal protection could have been granted in the royal estate, but not outside the building.The last time King Charles III saw his grandchildren in person was during Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee celebrations in 2022.
