Megan Thee Stallion will miss Wednesday’s performances Moulin Rouge! Musical.
“Megan Thee Stallion will not be playing Zidler at the April 1st show at 2pm,” reads a message on ATG tickets, confirming that the rapper will not appear at the next show after being hospitalized.
On Wednesday morning, Stallion’s rep shared a statement with Hollywood Reporter“, which reads: “Tuesday evening, Meghan was taken to a local hospital to undergo medical evaluation after developing worrying symptoms. Doctors eventually identified extreme fatigue, dehydration, vasoconstriction, and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated and released from hospital and is now resting.
The statement continued: “Meghan is incredibly grateful for the prayers and well wishes from her supporters and looks forward to resuming her role as Zedler in Moulin Rouge Thursday.”

Tuesday’s show appeared to start as usual, with the Grammy Award-winning artist appearing in the opening scenes, but stopping midway through. Theater officials apologized to the audience and asked them to “stay inside and sit down.” Stallion then exited and was replaced by another performer for the rest of the show, according to a post on X.
Stallion made her musical debut last week at the Al Hirschfeld Theater. She plays The Zidler, marking her Broadway debut. Stallion is also the first woman to play the role. The show also included the singer performing her hit songs “Savage” and “Body.”
