Nana Patekar’s life advice on KBC 16
The clip that was circulating on social media showed a candid dialogue between two of Bollywood’s most respected stars, Amitabh Bachchan and Nana Patekar. When Big B asked the ‘Welcome 2’ actor why he chose to walk away from fame and success in the film industry to return to village life, his answer was as humble as it was memorable.Replying to Amitabh’s question, Nana Patekar said, “I don’t really belong to the film industry. I come here, do my work, and come back. I have never been someone who attends parties here. I don’t like this lifestyle. It’s not who I am. I come from a village, and I will always be a village man. This is the place where I feel at home.”He was clearly moved, and Amitabh Bachchan responded warmly, saying: “It makes us very proud to see that.”
Nana Patekar continued to share life wisdom that resonated deeply with viewers. He said, “Amit ji, I have received much more than I bargained for. Life has given me so much. When your needs are limited, everything becomes much easier. I really enjoy this life. In the city, people have walls around their houses. Where I live, we have mountains around us, and we live in the middle of them. Life is very simple there.”“That’s a wonderful thing you said,” a grateful Amitabh responded, a sentiment echoed by the studio audience and now thousands of viewers online.
