Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes and director Travis Knight bring a force Masters of the universe To cinemacon.
Amazon MGM Studios is set to release Knight’s film theatrically on June 5. Based on the popular Mattel toy line, the film stars Mendes as Teyla, Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms. Galletzen plays Adam Glenn, known as He-Man, a former prince of Eternia who grew up on Earth.
“This is the Sword of Power — it’s an ancient, mysterious sword, and it’s very difficult to get through security,” Galitzine joked to the crowd, holding a large sword. “I was told not to swing legally.”
Mendes quipped that the film includes “a lot of muscle — more muscle than is necessary.” “Take all that away, and it becomes a child who doesn’t feel enough,” she said.

The group then revealed new footage from the film. The clip begins with Galitzine ironically calling him “Highlander” several times. Suddenly, the man confronts the monster, prompting Galitzine to ask, “What’s going on?”

Wilson (Trap Joe), John Xue Chang (Ram Man), and Hafthor Björnsson (Goat Man). And Kojo Attah (Tri Clubs). Additionally, Kristen Wiig voices Roboto.
