'Marco' star Unni Mukundan alerts Kerala Police over video of drug use in public; Rapid repression leads to immediate arrests

The actor reportedly sent a video showing Perumbavoor’s general drug use. The clip originally appeared on the Perumbavoor Stories Instagram page.

Unni Mukundan later sent the photos directly to the Kerala Police seeking immediate action.

The video reportedly showed young men injecting their hands with substances in public places. Some individuals were also seen carrying syringes. After receiving the clip, Kerala Police responded with a brief message. The response was reportedly as follows: “Note.”

According to an update later shared by Unni Mukundan, action was quickly followed.

By the evening, the people who appeared in the video had reportedly been arrested. Unni Mukundan later shared screenshots through his Instagram stories after taking the action. While sharing the update, the ‘Malikappuram’ star wrote, “Thank you Kerala Police.” The actor’s action received positive reactions on social media platforms.
