Sinqua Walls is the latest actor to join Man of tomorrowthe Superman Sequel filming in Atlanta. His character details are kept in a lead-lined safe.

DC Studios had no comment on his casting.

Walls appeared in the classic 2000s TV series Friday night lights Most recently, he starred in the Peacock limited series Fight Night: Million Dollar Heistalong with Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, and Don Cheadle.

On the cinematic side, he led the Hulu remake of Hulu White men can’t jumpopposite Jack Harlow, and appeared in the hit Netflix film carry As Taron Egerton’s TSA agent’s best friend, as well as a horror comedy Blackness. In 2022, he stars opposite Brian Cox as a drama veteran Line repair.

Man of tomorrow It’s writer-director James Gunn’s follow-up to last year’s hit Superman. David Corenswet returns as Superman, while Nicholas Hoult returns as Lex Luthor, as the enemies team up to confront the threat of Brainiac (Lars Edinger).

Adria Arjona joins the franchise, while Lanterns Star Aaron Bier is on the recall list, along with Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teichmacher), Isabella Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner) and Eddie Gathegi (Mister Fantastic).

The film’s release date is July 9, 2027, and follows 2026 DC titles Supergirl and Clayfaceas well as TV series Lanternsis scheduled to be released later this year.

Walls is repped by WME, Nava Artists and Jackoway Austen.
