The actress responded sharply to the event, and after the clip began to spread widely across social media, she went to X to clarify her position and call for respectful interaction.Sharing a note on her X account, Malavika expressed her disappointment over the nature of some of the questions directed at her during the event.“I went to an event yesterday and while I have the utmost respect for all journalists and members of the media in Tamil Nadu, two of them continually asked some very obnoxious questions that were completely unnecessary and incendiary,” she wrote.The actress went on to emphasize that she shares a warm and respectful relationship with Vijay, whom she has known for several years.“Thalapathy Vijay is someone I have known for the past seven years, someone I have a lot of respect for, and someone I am grateful to call my friend. Watching his journey has been incredible.”She also urged the media to maintain sensitivity during celebrity interactions.“I would really appreciate it if future media interactions could be kept respectful and considerate for the sake of everyone involved.
