‘Main gaali nahi dunga’: Sunil Pal says he turned down Rs 25 lakh to appear in Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ season 2

Comedian Sunil Pal claimed that Samay Raina offered him to join the second season of ‘India’s Got Lant’, but he turned down the offer despite being promised a huge remuneration. The comedian, one of the show’s harshest critics, said he refused to participate because he did not want to be associated with content that included offensive language.

His latest statements come amid his ongoing feud with Raina, where Sunil Pal has repeatedly criticized the comedian and questioned the show’s format and style of humour.Speaking to photographers in Mumbai on Thursday, Pal revealed that he was offered Rs 25 lakh to appear on the show but declined as he did not want to participate in content that included offensive language. Recalling the conversation, he said: “Usne baat ki toh Rs 25 lakh dene ki, lekin maine kaha, ‘Main gaali nahi dunga’.”

Usne kaha, ‘Aap mat dena, lekin baaki sab toh…’” (“He offered to pay me Rs 25 lakh, but I told him, ‘I will not use abusive language.’”

“You don’t have to, but everyone will do it anyway,” he replied.

Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Brought into the conversation

During the interaction, the paparazzi pointed out that Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, who appeared as the opening guests of the new season while promoting ‘Alpha’, also refrained from using offensive language on the show.Responding to the remark, Bal looked at Alia Bhatt and said, “Jahaan jahaan hai Alia, wahaan wahaan hai gaaliyan, baja do taaliyan, warna sapne mein aayega Vijay Mallya.” (Where there’s Alia, there’s swear words too. Applaud that, otherwise Vijay Mallya will appear in your dreams.)His comments once again sparked conversations about the type of humor featured on the show, which has repeatedly faced criticism for pushing boundaries with explicit content.

‘India’s Got Latent’ is back with a new episode

After releasing the first episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’ season 2 on Netflix and YouTube on June 20, the comedy show is gearing up for the second episode, which is scheduled to premiere on July 4.The season opener featured Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as special guests to promote their latest release, ‘Alpha’.
