Casa Amor bombshell Alannah Keyser is breaking her silence after being kept away from her Love Island in the USA Season 8 when a video of her using the N-word surfaced.
In the video, Keyser, who made his last appearance on the show during Episode 20, appeared to sing along to Roddy Ricch’s 2019 song “The Box,” which included a racial slur in the lyrics.
On Sunday, she took to her TikTok to address her exit and the resurfaced clip, saying: “I’m coming here to address some things that have been circulating online. I want to start by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song that contained a racial slur. I’m sorry to anyone who saw this video and was offended by it; that was never my intention. The video is from six years ago, and that word is not in my vocabulary anymore.”
“I want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I never have,” Kiser added. “When I first found out that this stuff was going around online, it really broke my heart, and I couldn’t do anything about it. But that was definitely a lesson learned for me, and it’s unfortunate that I didn’t get the chance to show my personality and who I really am.”
Hollywood Reporter She realizes that the video that appeared on social media appears to have not been shared publicly until after she appeared on Love Island in the USAWhich means that they were not accessible at any time during the screening process.
Keyser is the fourth member to be removed from it Love Island in the USA in the last two seasons due to backlash surrounding videos or posts that resurfaced. Vasana Montgomery was removed from Season 8 ahead of the June 2 premiere when social media posts surfaced of her using the N-word.
Last year, two islanders were also removed during Season 7.
