The actress is all set to walk the famous red carpet on May 14, marking a proud new chapter for her and Indian cinema.

Kalyani Priyadarshan spoke about what attending the festival means to her. She shared with Moneycontrol, “Cannes has always been a special celebration of cinema, so being there this year feels very special. I am grateful for all the love that Lokah Chapter One: Chandra has received. I think Indian cinema is being recognized globally in such an exciting way at the moment. It is nice to be part of that larger movement and experience a platform like Cannes at this stage of my journey.”

Instead of approaching the high-profile outing with nerves or big plans, Kalyani says she intends to simply take it all in. Speaking about her preparations, she said: “I just want to enjoy the whole experience and move forward without putting too much pressure on myself.”
