Singer Lily Allen announced on social media Monday that she is swapping arena dates with theaters for most of the upcoming extended US leg of her West End Girl tour.

While her Sept. 3 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City continues as planned, Allen said in her post that “we had to make some adjustments” to shows in Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver. These shows were originally scheduled to take place at XFinity Mobile Arena, United Center, Kia Forum, Chase Center, and Rogers Arena, but now, those dates will move to the Greek Theater, Paramount Theatre, Chicago Theater, TD Pavilion and Orpheum. Allen’s Montreal show at the Bell Center was canceled entirely without a smaller show to take its place.

Allen gave no reason for the switch, though smaller venues plus Montreal’s cancellation have some fans speculating online whether ticket sales will be strong enough for the larger arena setup. Before this American stop, Allen brought West End Girl Mainly to theaters and concert halls in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. However, the British singer has been playing arenas in the UK for much of the past month, including a date at London’s iconic O2 Arena last week.

Along with the venue changes, she also added a date in Seattle at the Paramount Theater as well. The Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Minneapolis and Red Rocks shows, all of which are held in theater or amphitheater-sized venues, will go on as planned.

Those who purchased tickets to the affected shows will receive their refund within the next five to seven business days, and will be automatically entered into the pre-sale for the new show dates. The new public sale will take place on July 24th.

Allen was released West End Girl The album received widespread critical and commercial acclaim late last year, with Allen’s fifth studio album sparking significant discussion as it detailed her split from ex-husband David Harbour.

“It’s very much like going through the motions,” Allen previously said of the album. “At the time, I was really trying to process things and that’s great about the album, but I don’t feel confused or angry now. I don’t need revenge.”
