New Line has brightened up once again with the idea of a sequel to the 2016 supernatural horror film lights out.
The Warner Bros. division Hiring up-and-comer Conor Osbourne McIntyre to write the script for the sequel, which has been on and off in development over the years.
Original producer Lawrence Gray returns as producer while Eric Heisserer and David F. Sandberg, who wrote and directed the film respectively, will also produce.
Additional producers on the roster are Ben Everard and Lotta Losten. Atomic Monster, the banner run by James Wan, who is also one of the producers of the original film, is also a producing company.
