The title of the new film by Austrian writer Marie Kreutzer (corsage) alerts us that we will have to prepare to face potential horrors and uncomfortable questions – Gentle monster.

The new life is having an impact on her career, but soon, that will no longer be Lucy’s biggest worry. Meanwhile, private police investigator Elsa (Haas) lives for her job and must also deal with the challenges caused by her father’s dementia. But both likable men may have a dark side lurking beneath the surface.
Kreutzer wrote and directed Gentle monster She worked on it with regular creative collaborators such as cinematographer Judith Kaufman (Yellow letters, Late transformation), editor Ulrike Koffler (Jenna) and producers Alexander Gleiher and Joanna Scherz from Film AG.
