Aaron Peier took control of San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, as DC Studios and HBO broke down the mystery box behind it Lanterns.

From the clips shown, much of the drama is extracted from the tension between the two men, as Stewart tries on the powerful ring used by the space cops, while Jordan is unwilling to accept that the man he is training is not his replacement but his replacement.
Pierre – wearing a leather jacket with the Green Lantern “Brightest Day/Blackest Night” logo as well as green and white boots with the letters JS on the back – impressed the audience by talking up his affinity for the character. “If I had the choice of choosing any character in the DC Universe, I would still choose John Stewart,” the actor said. “I’ll choose John every time.”
He also recounted suffering a serious injury to his left arm, where the tendon separated from the bone, and “my bicep reached my shoulder,” as he described it. The 7,000-strong crowd winced collectively. The casting process was between the final two or three actors, and he had to undergo surgery. Unable to even extend his arm, his casting asked him if he still wanted to finish the audition, to which he replied: “Don’t ask silly questions.”
“I made my last call back in my brace,” he recalls. “I wanted this role so much. I love John so much. At that moment, and this is not an exaggeration, at that moment, I was like, ‘What would John do?'” So I went in there and did my best and got the part.
He only had months to recover before filming began, but “it was so good to rehabilitate and be part of this family.”
during the painting, Lanterns Guest star Nathan Fillion crashed the stage to perform a segment in which he appeared to miss his invitation to the panel. (Fillion played Green Lantern aka Guy Gardner last summer Superman He will be reprising the character in the show.)
