Religious media company Family Theater Productions has found a head of production.
Kyle Benn joins the company in this role, coming from Creator Media, a production company he founded that had a first-look deal with Rideback and has been involved in projects for Netflix and Universal.
Family Theater Productions is largely focused on VOD and streaming projects, such as the children’s title Guillermo and Willabout two bloodworms, as well as the feature He praysabout Catholic priest Patrick Peyton, who popularized the phrase “The family that prays together stays together.”
Ben previously worked as a film executive at Lionsgate, where he worked on… John Wick, Blair Witch, My little pony and far apart Privileges.

As audiences continue to gravitate toward faith-based and family content, I look forward to finding new ways to further engage viewers in ways that foster connection, inspire, and move people to action,” Ben said in a statement.
On the television side of things, he was working on The price is right And relaunch Let’s make a deal.
