ETimes review praises the visual greatness
The ETimes review says: “The film’s aim is to portray Krishna’s spirit of love and devotion, and it is elevated by his performance. It takes time for Siddharth Gupta to feel completely convinced in the role, but once he settles into the role, he delivers a powerful performance.”
Sushmita Bhat as Radha, Sanskruti Jayana as Bhama, and Nivaashiyini Krishnan as Rukmini give generally sincere roles. Sanskruti Jayana deserves a special mention for his portrayal of Bhama’s jealousy and heartache, and shines as the slaying Narkasur.
The story is familiar and spectacle-filled, but the gorgeous images, music and heartfelt performances make it worth a theatrical viewing. With over Rs 10 crore gross in Hindi collections in just six days, Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart has made a promising start at the box office.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
