Kid Cudi is adopting his Big Bro Scott persona in an upcoming digital series.
Wave Sports & Entertainment is set to work with the artist for Big Brother with Kid CudiIts first episode begins on April 1, Hollywood Reporter I learned exclusively.
The weekly series will see the artist, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, transform into Big Bro Scott to provide the kind of perspective one would expect from a big brother as he interviews friends, collaborators, up-and-coming artists and legendary figures. Kylie Jenner makes her second ever appearance on the podcast in the first episode of the project, which encourages visitors to discuss the sparks, transformations and stories that come their way.
“This show is very difficult,” Kid Cudi says in a statement. “So hard. Deal with it, baby!” The trailer for the series can be seen below.
In addition to designing the show’s set at Wave’s Los Angeles studio, the star also recorded and produced the original song. After the premiere on April 1, Big Brother with Kid Cudi New episodes will be released every Wednesday on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, and other podcast platforms.
