While speaking at the launch, Kamal Haasan spoke about his decades-long friendship with Rajinikanth and the journey that finally led to ‘Dharman’. In that conversation, they brainstormed a new idea. “We decided that one day one of us should make a film for the other,” he recalls. Although the plan remained unrealized for nearly 40 years, the dream has now become a reality.
Kamal Haasan said that after reopening the RKFI office, he discussed the idea again with Rajinikanth, which led to the birth of ‘Dharman’ and another upcoming collaboration, ‘KHxRK’.
