Upcoming drama “Mad Concrete Dreams” has revealed a new teaser!
“Mad Concrete Dreams” is an exciting drama about a struggling landlord who gets involved in crime to protect his family and property. As he achieves his desired landlord status, mounting debts push him to participate in an organized kidnapping. However, the plan spirals out of control as the fake kidnapping turns into a dangerous reality.
The newly released teaser begins with Ki Soo Jong (Ha Jung Woo), the owner of a “massive” building who took out loans by “drawing everything, down to his soul,” desperately pleading, “Please, just let me pay the debt on my building.” It indicates that an ominous and unusual crisis is approaching his property.
When he feels desperate, his best friend Min Hwal-seong (Kim Joon-han) suggests, “How long are you going to live with me looking down on you? I’ll let you in,” delivering a loaded, meaningful line that suggests he has an ulterior motive. In need of money, Ki Soo Jong takes out a credit loan in the name of his wife Kim Seon (Im Soo Jung), which leads to a conflict with an angry Kim Seon.
Ki Soo Jung grows increasingly concerned when he checks his overdrawn account balance, steeling himself and telling himself firmly, “Get a hold of yourself. You can do this,” before launching an operation to protect his building. Then, a kidnapping involving Ki Soo Jong serves as the spark, foretelling unexpected events and increasing curiosity.
