Josh Duhamel, the actor best known for his roles in the “Transformers” and “Las Vegas” franchises, has welcomed a new addition to his family. The 53-year-old and his wife, Audra Marie, 32, announced the arrival of their second child together, making Duhamel a father of three.
He shared the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, May 16, and revealed the baby’s unique name along with a series of photos. He wrote in the caption: “Roca de Leon Duhamel, our baby girl is here.”The carousel included a Polaroid of the sleeping newborn, Duhamel holding a festive bottle of champagne next to her bed, and the couple posing together. Other footage showed two-year-old son Shepherd meeting his baby sister for the first time, with the baby hugging Mary’s chest at the hospital.

Before welcoming Rocca, Duhamel opened up about his excitement during his appearance in the comedy “Preschool,” telling his new co-star Derek Hough that he “can’t wait to meet her.” “I don’t know what to do with this. I just can’t wait to meet her,” he said. “And I think there’s something about fathers and their little daughters. It’s different, you know?”Marie first revealed her pregnancy in a set of black and white photos on Instagram showing off her bump.
In one photo, she is sitting on the bed with her legs crossed, wearing a half-buttoned shirt with her stomach exposed. In another photo, she beamed as she looked down to embrace her stomach. “Add a little girl to our story. We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned the post.

Duhamel and Marie are already parents to son Shepherd, 2. The actor is also a father to 12-year-old son Axel, whom he shares with ex-wife Fergie. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in August, Duhamel talked about being a father of two boys and what he loves most about fatherhood.
“I just love being a dad. I love every teacher,” he said.He also talked about the distinctive personalities of his two sons. “My father-in-law is a big car guy and collector, and I think Shepard is very similar to his grandfather,” he told the outlet. “He just loves cars, and all he wants to do is sit in the seat and pretend he’s driving.” Axel, on the other hand, has completely different interests. “He’s more interested in football and basketball statistics. But that’s the beauty of genetics.
