Jon Favreau will soon be leaving for Las Vegas.
The veteran director has been confirmed to participate in CinemaCon’s annual Creative Community Luncheon. The conversation is scheduled to take place in the Octavius Room at Caesars Palace on April 16, and will be moderated by Matt Bellone, host of City and Book News and former editor of Hollywood Reporter.
The annual luncheon takes place on the final day of the convention, and Favreau will already be in the building as his appearance comes ahead of the Walt Disney Studios CinemaCon screening at 2:30 p.m., during which he will introduce his upcoming Disney title. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Starring Pedro Pascal. Past participants at the luncheon, sponsored by Fathom Entertainment and D-BOX Technologies this year, include Glen Powell, Colman Domingo, Josh Brolin, Edgar Wright, Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, Elizabeth Banks, Jerry Bruckheimer, Patty Jenkins and Jon M. Chu.

The Mandalorian and Grogu It opens in theaters worldwide on May 22, in what will be the first installment in the Star Wars franchise since 2019. The Rise of Skywalker. CinemaCon, hosted by Cinema United, runs April 13-16, and is presented by sponsors Coca-Cola and Barco.
