Vijay starrer ‘Jana Nayagan’ has been in limbo ever since its official release date in January. Recently, reports claimed that the film has already received certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

However, another report clarified that these claims are not true.

According to India Today’s latest update, the film is yet to get censorship approval. Decision makers are still awaiting the CBFC’s decision and expect to complete the process next week. The report also states that the hype about the film getting an A rating is just speculation. The team hopes to obtain certification and share the release date accordingly.
