James Cameron and Tom Cruise are among the big winners at the Star-Filled Saturn Awards

The Saturn Awards flexed their nerdy muscle on Sunday, bringing together some of the biggest names in the genre in one room, including Tom Cruise, James Cameron, George Lucas, Guillermo del Toro, Vince Gilligan, Mark Hamill, William Shatner, and the cast. Boys.

Cameron, who was not nominated for director or best picture at the Oscars Avatar: Fire and Ashestook solace in Saturn, noting that the genre-focused awards show has always supported him, dating back to his days in 1984 finisher. On the television side of things, Multiple Among the big winners were creator Vince Gilligan who took home the award for Best New TV Series, and actors Rhea Seehorn (Best Actress in a TV Series) and Karolina Wydra (Supporting Actress) took home the win.

Former Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy accepted AndorIt won Best Science Fiction Television Series, with Diego Luna winning Best Actor and Stellan Skarsgård winning Best Supporting Actor.

Peacemaker won the award for best superhero television series, while Outlander Won the award for best fantasy television series, Him: Welcome to Derry Won the award for Best Horror TV Series, and Dexter: Resurrection It won the award for best suspenseful television series.
