Boys Star Jack Quaid has joined the cast of the film invinciblean animated satirical series of superheroes from The walking dead Creator Robert Kirkman.
Quaid will play Gravitator/Chris, a talented engineer who uses his thieving skills before an encounter with the superhero Invincible upends him.
Kirkman revealed that Quaid will appear in the upcoming fifth season of the series on Amazon Prime Video. While speaking at Prime Video’s Annecy show on Wednesday, Kirkman showed a clip of the Gravitator character to the audience.
Steven Yeun voices Invincible AKA Mark Grayson in the show, with Sandra Oh and JK Simmons as his parents Debbie and Nolan.
Kirkman announced invincibleThe animated series, produced by Skybound Animation, has been renewed for a sixth season, making it Prime Video’s longest-running animated series to date. Season 4 was the series’ most watched to date.
The Prime Video show also included sneak peeks at the series The Legend of Fox Machina and The mighty Nin; And clips from the third season of the series Helluva Boss, directed by Vivian Medrano; The official trailer of the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader. Amazon announced that all ten episodes of the series Caped Crusader S2 will be released on the platform on October 14.
The panel also showcased some of Prime Video’s anime titles in development, including Conan the BarbarianWith executive producer and showrunner Genndy Tartakovsky (Primitive, Samurai Jack), via video link, giving audiences an early look at the new series from Cartoon Network Studios.
