In ‘Dhurandhar’, the actor played the role of Rehman Duckett, also known as Rehman Baloch, a Karachi-based gangster with political ambitions. As the leader of a Baloch gang based in Lyari, his character emerged as the film’s primary antagonist, earning praise for his commanding screen presence.

Akshaye Khanna will next be seen in Siddharth P. Malhotra’s Ikka, where he shares the screen with Sunny Deol. The thriller revolves around a thrilling courtroom battle, with Deol playing an upstanding lawyer and Khanna playing a man accused of murder whose past is closely linked to the lawyer’s life.The film also marks the reunion of Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna after their memorable collaboration in the 1999 war drama ‘Borders’. Produced by Alchemy Films, Ikka also stars Sanjeeda Sheikh, Shishir Sharma and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 10.
