The singer recently sat down with Variety to talk about her career and what her life has been like. One topic she touched on was her upbringing in the entertainment industry. The star revealed that things like stardom, constant attention and the world of glitz and glamor have always seemed like a natural part of her.Recalling her early days in the industry, she said, “Growing up around my father, being on tours and on sets, it was very natural for me. I never felt like a fish out of water.”She also added that although she was always fine with everything, people around her were often shocked by her life. “People were really shocked about it, like, ‘When you got to L.A., was your mind blown?’ I never liked to think I was jaded, but being in show business, I was less fascinated by Hollywood,” she added.
