‘O’Romeo’ star writer-actor Hussain Dalal has addressed the long-running rumors of a sequel to the classic film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.Dalal offered a nuanced view, “Any story in the world can be taken forward. But at the same time, one should not take any story forward just because they feel it will work. Wherever life takes us, we will go.”Dalal’s response comes as a desire to protect the integrity of the original film. He believes that although sequels are profitable, they should be born from a place of creative necessity and not just a business aspect.
