The biggest night on Broadway is approaching.
Tony nominee Uzo Aduba and Tony-winning actor Darren Criss will unveil the nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards on Tuesday morning. After revealing the specific categories CBS Morning At 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET, the full nominations announcement will stream live on the Tony Awards YouTube channel at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET.
Chris is currently playing the lead role Maybe a happy ending Like a robot named Oliver. This role earned him his first Tony Award win for Best Actor in a Musical. He also received another win for Best Music as Associate Producer. His additional Broadway credits include How to succeed in business without really trying, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and American buffalo. The actor first rose to the spotlight by starring in Ryan Murphy’s musical comedy series Happy, And so is Murphy The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story and Hollywood.
As for Aduba, her credits include Broadway Coram Boy, Magic of the Gods and Clyde, The latter earned her a Tony nomination in 2022. Aduba received an Emmy nomination last year for her role in the Netflix film. Accommodation. She has also appeared in Roofman, pain reliever and Greedy people.
The 2026 Tony Awards will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 7. Pink is scheduled to host the ceremony. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ from 5pm PT to 8pm PT.
The Tony Awards are produced in association with Tony Award Productions, a combination of the American Theater Wing and the Broadway League. Producers include Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levin Hall and Jack Sussman. Kapoor and Levin Hall are also co-producing the series, while Patrick Minton and Rob Payne will co-executive produce. Additionally, Minton serves as Head of Talent.
