Dragon House CCXP Mexico lit up with a new outlook for Season 3.

Cast members Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke and Fabian Frankel thrilled audiences at the annual event in Mexico City on Saturday with a panel teasing the upcoming season of the HBO series, which begins in June. the game of thrones The prequel series also stars Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans and Steve Toussaint.

Co-creator and showrunner Ryan Condal appeared in a video to introduce the latest trailer. “I’m very sad not to join you all there, but I’m back here in the UK, putting the finishing touches on post-production on season three,” Condal said in the footage. “This is a huge season. It’s the biggest season we’ve ever made on a massive scale. It’s dark. It’s funny. It’s action-packed. It’s emotional. And of course, it has lots and lots of dragons. This season took the best of everyone who collaborated to make it together, and I can’t wait for the world to experience it.”

The new trailer will be released online on Monday and includes Corlys Velaryon (Toussaint) declaring that “all that remains for you is to decide what you want from this war.”

Later in the footage, Sir Christon Cole (Frankel) warns: “Death and destruction are all around us.”

During the panel, Cook addressed Alicent Hightower’s fraught relationship with Rhaenyra Targaryen (Darcy). “In order to hate someone, there has to be a passion that you have to set on fire,” Cook noted. “And I believe there once was a great love. I don’t know where you stand in Alicent’s heart anymore.”

Smith teased that the new season will include “a lot of fights.” “This season, we’re trying to make it bigger, bolder, bloodier, more brutal, more dangerous — just get back to the core of who we are as a show,” he added. The actor also promised that the season will include a lot of dragons, especially Caraxes.

Addressing what’s in store for his character, Frankel shared, “Right now, he’s just driven to survive, so let’s see how it all unfolds.”

Smith went on to praise Daemon Targaryen for playing by his own rules. “What I like about Daemon is that he doesn’t care: ‘I’ll do what I want, how I want, when I want,’” Smith said. “There’s something amazing about that.”
