Actor Kartik Aaryan has gotten emotional two years after the release of Chandu Champion. The actor took to social media to mark the occasion and shared a heartfelt note about the film, which he considers the most important project of his career.
Kartik described the project as a life-changing experience. He spoke candidly about the lessons he learned while portraying one of India’s most iconic sports heroes.

Sharing a picture from the film, Kartik talked about the emotional and physical challenges he faced while preparing for this role. “Two years ago, I stepped into the shoes of a man the world had forgotten, and he ended up reminding me of everything I believe in,” he wrote.
I’m not sure I’ve put it all into words yet, but I’ll try. This film isn’t just about a man who refused to give up, it’s about scars that turn into medals, and setbacks that turn into comebacks.

Morlicant Petkar ‘s story left a lasting impact
Kartik also revealed that playing Murlikant Petkar requires him to push himself beyond his limits. He explained that the journey required discipline, perseverance and full commitment.
Reflecting on his experience, he wrote: “To play Murlikant Petkar, I had to become someone I had never been before. Every early morning, every drop of sweat, every moment of self-doubt on the set – it wasn’t acting. It was living.”
Chandu’s story taught me that the world will laugh at your dream before it applauds it. That the finish line belongs to those stubborn enough to keep running. I carried that with me every day of this shoot, and honestly, I still do.”
Gratitude to Kabir Khan And the team
Kartik also used the occasion to thank director Kabir Khan, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and the entire crew who worked on the film. Expressing his appreciation, he wrote, “Sir Kabir, thank you for trusting me with such a sacred story. Sajid Sir, for making it possible and always being that force!! And to everyone behind the camera, those who ran with me at 5 am, those who pushed me when I wanted to stop.”
He ended his post on an interesting note, writing: “PS: I can’t wait to share everything we have next with you.
