“Heated Rivalry” is a film based on the Game Changers book series by Rachel Reid and adapted for television by Jacob Tierney, starring Connor Story and Hudson Williams.
Robbie GK feels there’s a lot more to be explored between Scott and Kip
In the story, Kip, an art student, begins a secret romance with hockey star Scott Hunter. Played by François Arnault. Speaking about the role and the plot in a new interview with People, Robbie says Scott and Kip are at the “top of a roller coaster” in their story.
“I think there’s a lot that can be explored after the fact,” the actor explained.

The Canadian actor also spoke about the response to the show, and the love from fans has been “incredible.” Commenting on the impact of the show, Robbie said: “Six months ago, this wouldn’t have been possible at all… so I think every day it’s becoming more real and settling, but yeah, it’s great.”
Robbie JK says he was very performative in childhood
The actor also shared that he had a similar childhood to the show’s co-star Connor Story.
In another recent interview, the actor told Forbes that he was also “very performative.” “I was always looking to try to make people laugh,” he said. “I think my parents knew that at an early age.” He also noted that Tierney, 46, approached him for the role of Kip, and what attracted him to the role originally.Outside of “Heated Rivalry,” GK also plays Deputy Chris Whitley on the series “Sheriff Country.”
