As the buzz around Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ song continues to build, a new video clip has created a lot of buzz that may have ‘leaked’ online.A video showing blurry images of an alleged fight scene from the upcoming saga has started going viral across fans’ social media handles. The short clip appears to show Ranbir Kapoor in his royal avatar as Lord Ram, pulling his bow and arrow towards a mysterious creature before launching an attack that triggers a massive explosion.
The dramatic sequence quickly gained traction online, with many accounts claiming it was real footage from unreleased footage that was shown to a small audience before the film’s release. According to online posts, the clip was allegedly captured during one of the recent fan screenings and promotional events organized by the makers ahead of the film’s release. However, it should be noted that the authenticity of the footage has not yet been verified.Shortly after the video went viral, many fans began wondering if this video was from the movie at all. Many social media users suggested that the clip may have been generated using artificial intelligence prompts. Others argued that the quality of the footage made it impossible to determine whether it was sourced from the Ramayana or created digitally. However, a video later posted by fan handles seemed to confirm that the video was not a leak but an AI-generated video.
In another post, a creator used his style to share that he, along with many others, enjoyed some new, unreleased footage from the movie “Ramayana.” Producer Namit Malhotra is hosting screenings for fans ahead of the film’s release, in a new and unique promotional strategy. “Along with Rama, we were also shown additional shots, which I cannot speak about. I would like to say that along with Sri Ram, Ma Sita and Laxman ji, we got to see all these looks,” he said.He also added, “Rama’s appearance was 3D,” and continued that the videos feature “immersive 3D” with the background changing based on perspective.
The incident comes amid growing anticipation surrounding the ambitious mythological saga, which is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead alongside Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. The makers have so far revealed only one official look of Lord Rama. The buzz is that the makers are gearing up to release more of these first looks as they gear up for the film’s global release later this year.
