Veteran singer Hariharan has written a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Asha Bhosle, calling her a “part of our daily existence”. He shared his fond memories, highlighting her tremendous contribution to music and personal support. Hariharan stressed that Bhosle’s voice, a constant companion for many Indians since childhood, created an everlasting bond. He stated that her legacy as an inspiration will live on.

Singer and musician Hariharan took to his social media to share a series of black and white pictures, as well as color pictures of himself and Asha Bhosle. He fondly reminisced about his memories of her and talked about what a huge force she was in the music world.He also added, “When I heard about Asha Bhosle ji, I was out of words. It is a deeply personal loss… She is family to me. I have been fortunate to have her blessings since the early 80s, and I will always cherish those moments. She has always stood by my side!”

Moreover, he shared in the post that Bhosle lived a wonderful life till the age of 92 and that she was a big part of everyone’s life.
“For all of us Indians, she was not just a singer, she was a part of our daily lives. Bachpan’s voice has lived with us, grown with all of us. Almost everyone I know has grown up listening to her… and that bond is eternal,” he added.Moreover, he also mentioned how she has been an inspiration to countless people, including himself, and will continue to be so for years to come. The pairing of Hariharan and Asha Bhosle rose to fame with the 1985 ghazal album titled ‘Aabshaar-e-Ghazal’. “Hariharan was the composer behind all eight songs, while Bhosle lent her melodious voice to the lyrics.
