Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen’s love story: inside their journey from first viewing to becoming a family of three

Hailee Steinfeld is just starting to enjoy motherhood with her newborn baby girl with Josh Allen. The couple welcomed their first child on April 2, writing: “Our baby girl has arrived.”

Before that, the couple shared the big news on Instagram, where Hailey and Allen shared a sweet clip of him kissing her stomach.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen were first linked in May 2023. People reported that they had been “hanging out for a few weeks.” Then over Independence Day weekend in 2023, the pair were spotted in Los Cabos. They were photographed kissing in the water. Steinfeld had her arms wrapped around Allen’s neck.

The duo made it official when Allen shared the first photo of himself and Steinfeld on his Instagram account on July 23. “Forward,” he wrote.

After many rumors and quiet appearances, Hailey dropped the bomb on November 30, 2024. It was their engagement photo. In an Instagram post, Steinfeld shared photos from her engagement to Allen, writing the date in the caption: “11•22•24.” The photo was taken on a cliff next to a beautiful view of the ocean. The actress leans over to give him a kiss as he kneels with the ring.

On February 6, 2025, Allen won the Most Valuable Player award at the 2025 NFL Awards in New Orleans. He accepted his partner and thanked her in his acceptance speech. According to Us Weekly, Allen said he would like to thank “last but not least, my fiancée Hailey. You’ve been my rock. You’re my best friend.” [and] “I wouldn’t be standing on this platform if it weren’t for you.”

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Steinfeld and Allen were married in a gorgeous ceremony in California. Page Six published a photo of them kissing at the altar immediately after announcing their marriage. In the photo, the Sinners actress shows off her stunning white strapless dress, which she paired with elbow-length opera gloves and a white veil pinned over her updo. Their wedding was a “no phones” event, Hailey shared in her newsletter.

Later on June 17, Allen posted Polaroid photos from their honeymoon and captioned the post, “Wife.”
