Varun Dhawan’s film ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ had a successful weekend at the box office. The film, which features Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in the lead role, did well despite clashing with many films in theatres.
However, the first Monday will reveal whether the film actually receives love from the audience.

The David Dhawan-directed film opened with a net collection of Rs 7.50 crore. The second day in theaters added another Rs 7.25 crore to the film’s total collection. Now, according to a Sacnilk report, the film has seen a 20% growth compared to the previous day’s earnings. It grossed Rs 9 crore across 8,616 shows on the third day.This brings the total net collection in India to Rs 24 lakh crore, while the total gross collection in India stands at Rs 28.80 lakh crore.Meanwhile, abroad, the Varun Dhawan starrer collected a net collection of Rs 3.00 crore on the third day, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 8.50 crore. This has taken the total global collection to Rs 37.30 lakh crore.
