A sports documentary focusing on the perennial Cinderella college basketball team Gonzaga: The insoles still fit It is scheduled to premiere as a Tubi Original on March 6. The film includes interviews with notable figures such as Few and Steve Kerr, along with Gonzaga alumni John Stockton, Adam Morrison, Chet Holmgren, Andrew Nembhard, Jalen Suggs and Domantas Sabonis.

Thomas Tull is producing the film, which hails from Teton Ridge Entertainment and Words + Pictures. Gillian Sher, Josh Miller, Connor Shell, Jonathan Hook, Libby Guest, Alexa Conway and Angela T. O’Neill serve as executive producers. Miller and Jessica McCourt of Teton Ridge Entertainment and Ian Nelson of Tubi negotiated the deal. The trailer can be seen below.

The film’s title refers to broadcaster Gus Johnson chanting, “The shoe still fits,” after a key win during Gonzaga’s March Madness run in 1999. The Bulldogs finished second in the 2017 and 2021 national championship games.

We saw that at Gonzaga – a program built on grit, humility and the unwavering belief that where you come from does not determine where you end up.
