Nikki Glaser, the Golden Globe, Grammy and Emmy-nominated comedienne who hosted the Golden Globes in 2025 and 2026, will return as emcee of the ceremony — the highest-profile awards show celebrating the best in film and television — for its 84th edition in January 2027, CBS and the Golden Globes announced Wednesday.

The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS, and on Paramount+ in the United States, on Sunday, January 10, 2027.

In 2025, Glaser became the first solo host of the Globes television show, receiving rave reviews. It returned in 2026, and although viewership dropped slightly, it was praised THRTV critic for ‘first-rate monologue’.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nicky back to the Golden Globes stage in 2027,” Helen Hoehn, president of the Golden Globes Organization, said in a statement. “Her comedic precision, authenticity and ability to command a room are unparalleled, and we can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for next year’s show.”

“I’m thrilled to be hosting the Golden Globes for the third time,” Glaser added, “not only because it’s the greatest party I’ve ever done, but because my sister has three children and now we’ll be equal in the eyes of my parents and God.”

Glaser will have exited the show more times than any other host(s) except Ricky Gervais, who has worked five times, and the team of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who has worked four times.

The 84th Golden Globe Awards, like the 83rd, will be produced by Dick Clark Productions and broadcast in more than 185 countries and territories around the world.

Golden Globes production company Dick Clark Productions is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge, which also owns Hollywood Reporter.
