Gaten Matarazzo has found another very exciting job-Strange things Project: West End Revival rent.
The young star’s outing as Mark Cohen will mark his London stage debut, with the musical set to open in September at the Duke of York’s Theatre. Cohen, narrator rentis a struggling documentary filmmaker living in New York City during the AIDS crisis of the early 1990s.

Producers Chris Harper and Sonia Friedman spoke about reviving the film rent: “We were thrilled when we saw Luke Sheppard perform for the first time at Hope Mill Theater in 2020 – it felt immediate, emotional and absolutely vital.”

Matarazzo will balance the show around the new film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda Eightwhich also stars Amanda Seyfried, Rachel Ziegler, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Philippa Soo, Jonathan Groff, Trammell Tillman, and Paul Jordan Janssen.
