The “Riverdale” star sat down with her co-stars Lola Tong, Alexandra Shipp and Victoria Pedretti for an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine where they looked back on their careers. During one segment, when asked about an acting remark from a director they didn’t like, Reinhart had a shocking answer that left everyone in disbelief.While she didn’t mention any names when describing the event, she did share that the director had once commented on her stomach.
“When a male director came up to me and leaned silently and went, ‘Just suck your stomach in a little bit,'” she recalled, leaving everyone in shock. The issue sat with her, especially since the actress has been open about her eating disorder and body dysmorphia over the past two years.
Reinhart did not go into details about this case. However, Tong was quick to joke and comment, “It’s time for the six-way match, it’s time for the six-way match,” while all the girls encouraged her to take the director’s name.
