Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro brought CinemaCon audiences into the circle of trust with the former Fokker in law Tractor.

Universal Pictures celebrated Get to know the parents sequel ahead of its theatrical release on November 27. Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Terry Polo reprise their roles from the series, while new cast includes Ariana Grande and Beanie Feldstein.

Stiller made his way to the theater alone, where he joked that the franchise team had planned “an intentional 15-year hiatus between the third and fourth films.” He noted that he is now roughly the same age as De Niro in the 2000 film, and added: “I guess you could say I’m the new De Niro in the franchise.”

This prompted De Niro to join him on stage and quipped, “Don’t say that. It’s very disrespectful.” He continued: “I was made a very inappropriate comparison, which forced me to defend my honor.”

The couple also praised Grande’s role in the new film. “I got an Oscar nomination,” De Niro told Stiller. “How many of these do you have?” De Niro then added: “I didn’t write this.”

When the trailer was released, it began with De Niro giving Grande a lie detector test, recalling the first film.

The footage also shows the family wearing pink T-shirts while riding a bike together, followed by Grande taking a nasty leak.
