Speaking about his daughter Emma, whom he shares with ex-partner Kelly Cunningham, he commented: “It’s only complicated through outside eyes.”The actor also commented, “They don’t get anything from it. So, they have their own opinion, whatever that may be. I’m so proud of my baby.”
While the 69-year-old spoke about how they were doing a good job, he also added that there was a time when he was not someone anyone could rely on. Speaking about his drug use, he added: “I was a washing rag. I was completely undependable emotionally.”He also commented on the fact that he was a “car wreck” at one point in his life and that he takes full responsibility for his actions and mistakes at that time in his life.
He also described “losing the relationship with my daughter” as one of the most difficult periods of his life and one that he will always regret. The “Dark Knight” actor has been sober since 1995.
