Actor Eric Bergen, as Page Six reported, attended and hosted a recent Gateway Cancer event where he was invited on stage to talk about his journey with testicular cancer. He spoke openly about being diagnosed with the disease when he was just 27, and how difficult it is to deal with everything at that age.He said sarcastically: “It has not escaped my mind that I am here at 40 years old, a survivor of this disease, and I am portraying someone who lost his battle with the same disease at the same age.”
He pointed to his latest project, “Love Story,” in which he will play Anthony Radziwill, John F. Kennedy Jr.’s cousin and best friend, who was also suffering from testicular cancer.He spoke about his diagnosis just a week ago on social media while announcing his casting as Anthony in “Love Story.” “I’m so grateful to be here today to tell my story and a little of Anthony’s,” his post read.Radziwill survived testicular cancer but died 10 years after his diagnosis from another type of cancer.
