God of war Baldur has found her.
Prime Video’s big-budget remake of the Legends-themed game has debuted on PlayStation The birth of Jurassic World Star Ed Skrein is the main villain of the show.
Skrein will play opposite the previously announced Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy), who plays the protagonist, the Spartan warrior Kratos. Skrein credits also include dead pool and Rebellious moon.
This is the official description for Skrein’s character: “Baldur may be Odin’s youngest son, but he is his father’s most dangerous weapon. Charismatic, unpredictable and armed with a razor-sharp tongue, Baldur lives by his own rules. As a boy, Baldur was cursed; this curse robbed him of the ability to feel pleasure and physical sensation. This fuels an insatiable rage and bloodlust in Baldur, who favors a fearless fighting style that blends his immense strength with raw influence.” For his fists, and above all else, he longs for an opponent who can truly match his prowess in battle.

The series will follow the story of the two most recent God of war The games, which introduced Kratos’ son, 10-year-old Atreus. The two will “embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye,” the show’s byline said. “Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.”
Moore, who has an overall deal at Sony, executive produces with Mariel Davis, Corey Barlog, Narain Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Kizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Herman Holst, Roy Lee and Brad Van Aragon. Joe Minowski, Mark Bernardin, Tania Lotia, and Ben McGinnis are associate members. Sony and Amazon MGM are producing God of war With PlayStation Productions and Moore’s Tall Ship Productions.
