Ed Skrein confronts Baldur

Ed Skrein takes on the role of Baldur, Odin’s youngest son and deadliest enforcer. He is charismatic but highly unpredictable, fighting with brute force and his fists alone. Cursed from his youth to feel neither pleasure nor pain, he burns with rage and seeks battles that might finally arouse sensation.

In 2018’s original “God of War,” voiced by Jeremy Davies, Baldur doggedly pursued Kratos and Atreus across Midgard in unforgettable clashes.Inspired by the films God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök, the series follows Kratos and his young son Atreus on a legendary quest to spread the ashes of Kratos’ late wife, Faye. Along the way, Kratos educates Atreus in divine ways, while Atreus nudges his father toward human warmth.

A full lineup of stars

Ed Skrein joins a strong ensemble led by Ryan Hurst as Kratos, a hardened Spartan warrior, and Callum Vinson as Atreus, a smart 10-year-old boy. Mandy Patinkin portrays Odin, the cunning father. Olafur Darri Ólafsson brings the thunder as Thor, Max Parker plays the sharp-eyed Heimdall, and Teresa Palmer plays Sif, Thor’s devoted wife.
