Mohanlal-starrer Drishyam 3 continued its theatrical run with stable numbers despite a slight dip in collections on its 21st day. The suspense thriller remained one of the strongest Malayalam entertainers of the year.According to Sakneelak, the film earned Rs 37 lakh nett in India on Day 21. The collection came from 705 shows across different regions. Compared to the net Rs 40 lakh collected on the 20th, the latest figure shows a decline of 7.5%.
Net collection in India exceeds Rs 107 crore
‘Drishyam 3’ has taken its total net collection in India to Rs 107.70 crore. The film’s total collection in India has now reached Rs 124.94 crore.The film enjoyed a fantastic first week by collecting Rs 81.95 crore.
It continued its strong momentum in the second week and added another Rs 20.68 crore.
Overseas market drives global success
On Day 21, ‘Drishyam 3’ added Rs 5 lakh from international territory. This pushed the film’s overall overseas collection to Rs 111.65 crore. The total global collection now stands at Rs 236.59 crore.
Occupancy levels
The Malayalam version recorded an overall occupancy of 8.30% on day 21. The morning shows recorded an occupancy of 5.80%.
Afternoon offers improved slightly to 6.90%. The evening occupancy rate was 7.10%, while the night shows closed at 8.00%.The Malayalam version contributed Rs 36 lakh to today’s tally of 694 shows. The Telugu version added Rs 1 lakh from 11 shows and recorded 14% occupancy.Kerala remained the strongest market for the film on the 21st. The state contributed Rs 40,000. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana each added a total of Rs 1 lakh.
The total collection for the day was Rs 43 lakh.‘Drishyam 3’ follows Georgekutty as he faces his toughest challenge yet.
