Diljit Dosanjh's Ludhiana home receives bomb threat via email; The police were deployed after the attack on the director's house

Days after singer Diljit Dosanjh’s manager Gurbartap Singh Kang’s residence was allegedly attacked in Haryana, a bomb threat email targeting Diljit’s residence in Ludhiana has been sent to the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation. The email, allegedly from the Khalistan National Party, also threatened the mayor’s residence. The police deployed to the singer’s home.

Just days after the house of singer Diljit Dosanjh’s manager, Gurbartap Singh Kang, was targeted in a shooting incident in Gonder village in Haryana’s Karnal district, new problems have emerged with the threat to bomb the singer’s house in Ludhiana.

It is worth noting that Diljit does not currently reside in the property.

The threat was received via an email sent to the official email address of the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, which also included threats to target the residence and office of the Ludhiana Mayor.

The development comes after Diljit Dosanjh reportedly confronted pro-Khalistan protesters at a recent concert in Canada, where he asked them to leave the venue after they were seen waving pro-Khalistan posters.

Police were deployed outside Diljit Dosanjh’s house in Ludhiana after a new bomb threat

Following the latest threat, authorities in Ludhiana deployed police personnel outside Dosanjh’s home as a security measure, although the singer does not stay there. The new threat also comes in the wake of the alleged shooting at the home of his manager Gurbartap Seng Kang on May 13. However, the matter did not lead to a formal police complaint, and Haryana Police confirmed that no evidence of any shooting was discovered at the site.
