Ayushmann Khurrana looked back on his early fame after winning MTV Roadies and admitted that he once acted like a “deep red flag” in his relationship with Tahira Kashyap. The actor said he broke up with Tahira when he was 20 because he thought he needed to focus on himself after winning his reality show.

Years later, Ayushmann laughed at this phase and said that he now sees himself as a ‘green flag husband’.

Speaking on Ronak Rajani’s YouTube channel during the promotions of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, Ayushmann appeared with Wamiqa Ghabi, Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan. The actor spoke about relationships, early success, and how winning MTV Roadies changed the way he sees himself.“I went through a similar situation. I was 20 years old at the time.

I said the same things to my girlfriend, who is now my wife. She started laughing and asked me: What happened to you? I had just won Roadies, but in my mind, I was the most popular man in Chandigarh.Ayushmann added, “I broke up with her for a while to focus on myself. I told myself: ‘I don’t have time for relationships. I have to invest time in myself.'”The separation did not last long. After six months, Ayushmann realized his mistake and returned to Tahira.

The couple later married when he was 24 years old.

Ayushmann joked about how men change with age. “Men have this profound tendency to start out as a huge red flag and then suddenly turn into a green flag when they get to their mid-30s. I think it’s a journey we all go on. I think I’m a green flag now,” he said.The actor also linked his real life to “Vicky Donor”. By the time the film happened, he was already a father of two. “Even before I started Vicky Donor, I was already a father.

“I took the act a little too seriously,” he joked.He also revealed that he donated sperm during the ‘Roadies’ mission. “I donated sperm for real. It was part of the Roadies’ mission. They used to check our sperm count. I was just 20. Nothing was shown on screen, just the results were revealed. I won the mission,” he said.Sara Ali Khan looked shocked, while Rakul Preet Singh asked: “You donated sperm, and then you donated Vicky Donor?”Ayushmann will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ with Sharvari.
