Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has received immense love from the audience since its theatrical release. However, a section of people have also termed the film as ‘propaganda’, as the policies shown in the film are allied with the ruling government.
Now, Manav Gohil, who plays Sushant Bansal’s role in the film, has expressed his opinion on the same.

In an interview with News18, Manav Gohil defended Aditya Dhar’s directorial. He said: “Cinema is just a vehicle for creative expression. The moment you put on the baggage of politics and morality, you tie up the wings that allow it to fly.”

He added: “Art and politics should not be combined. People do that, but I can’t have an opinion on that because that’s the way the world works today.”Citing the example of a Hollywood film, which showed the CIA’s hunt for Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, the actor said no one questioned this narrative. “When Zero Dark Thirty was made, they didn’t comment on it. The international media didn’t talk about politics in a lot of other films,” he said.Manav added that the film being discussed means it confirms the success of the film. The actor said, “It is said that when a friend talks bad about you or discusses you, it means you are growing.
In the same way, I feel it’s good for people to talk about our film, whether it’s in a good or bad way.
